Fresno Interstate 5 Semi-Truck Collision Left One Injured

FRESNO, CA (October 18, 2021) – Officials airlifted one driver after a big-rig crash on I-5 Wednesday afternoon.

The CHP responded to the incident just after 2:30 p.m. on Interstate 5 near 25th Avenue.

According to the investigators, a big-rig rear-ended another truck. As a result, one of the semi-trucks became engulfed in flames.

In the end, officials airlifted one of the drivers to the hospital with a broken leg.

Meanwhile, the other people involved in the big-rig crash remained uninjured.

Fresno Officials are now working to identify the factors leading up to the big rig I-5 incident.
