Man Dead Following Traffic Accident near Road 156

VISALIA, CA (November 17, 2022) – Tuesday afternoon, a two-car crash on Avenue 264 claimed the life of a man.

The deadly accident happened around 3:00 p.m. near southbound Road 156 in the city of Visalia.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan, going eastbound on Avenue 264, approached a stop sign. The driver failed to look both ways before continuing and collided with a pickup truck going south on Road 156.

Following the collision, emergency crews arrived and pronounced the driver of the sedan dead at the scene. Although, their identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

The condition of the pickup truck driver is unknown.
