One Pronounced Dead after Big-Rig Accident near 6th Avenue

HANFORD, CA (June 21, 2023) Wednesday night, one driver was fatally injured in a semi-truck collision on Highway 198.

Authorities responded to the scene around 7:15 p.m., near 6th Avenue on May 17th.

Per reports, the driver of a northbound semi-truck made a slow right turn onto eastbound Highway 198. There, the driver of a black Chrysler rear-ended the semi-truck at an unknown speed.

Medics arrived and pronounced the driver of the Chrysler dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Meanwhile, investigators say the semi-truck driver remained uninjured.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Once available, more details about the fatal semi-truck collision on Highway 180 will be provided.
