23-Year-Old Killed in Vehicle Crash near Highway 152

LOS BANOS, CA (March 1, 2022) – On Thursday, a 23-year-old driver died following a two-car collision on Interstate 5.

The incident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. along Interstate 5 near Highway 152.

Furthermore, according to the California Highway Patrol, a driver tried passing cars on the freeway when they lost control of the vehicle.

Eventually, it collided with a semi-truck parked on the shoulder of the Interstate.

Meanwhile, despite efforts to save his life, responding officers pronounced the man dead at the scene. Authorities withheld his name until further notice.

At this time, officials have not released any further information about the crash, but an active investigation is underway.

Furthermore, Los Banos police are asking anyone with information regarding the fatal collision to call them at their local offices.
