Victim Pronounced Dead after Train Accident on Scott Street

SAN BRUNO, CA (March 4, 2022) – Friday morning, a driver was pronounced dead after a train collision on Scott Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 8:00 a.m.

For reasons not known, a southbound Caltrain train slammed into the vehicle. Emergency responders located the vehicle driver dead at the scene. His name, is currently, not released until next of kin are notified.

The collision forced the transit agency to shut down the southbound track. Meanwhile, officials said no one sustained injuries among the 31 passengers of the southbound train #108.

California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the train collision. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
