Toyota Driver Fatally Slams into Tow-Truck near Willow Avenue

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 1, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a driver was killed in a tow-truck collision on Interstate 80.

According to reports, a tow-truck driver was preparing to drive away with a disabled vehicle on the freeway near Willow Avenue.

There, the driver of a Toyota Rav-4 struck the rear of the tow-truck. The impact ejected the Toyota driver from the vehicle. Investigators say the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time.

Due to the impact of the collision, the Toyota driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

Meanwhile, the occupants of the tow-truck suffered minor injuries.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently ongoing.
