High-Speed Chase on Century Park Ends in Crash

BEVERLY HILLS, CA (August 9, 2021) An unidentified man who allegedly drove recklessly and refused to stop for police, led authorities on a chase Tuesday. Unfortunately ending in a crash on Century Park.

The accident occurred around 10:45 a.m. in the 1800 block of South Century Park East.

According to Beverly Hills police, the chase came to an end when the suspect purposefully drove into oncoming traffic. This caused a head-on collision with another vehicle. Although, the cause that led to the chase is still unknown.

Paramedics responded to the crash but did not transport any patients.

As per reports, the unidentified suspect, got out of his vehicle after the crash and was taken into custody.

At this time, it is not actually known whether speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the crash. However, an active investigation is underway.
