Driver Arrested after Slamming into Building on Second Avenue

SEATTLE, WA (September 29, 2021) – Monday night, a 51-year-old driver was arrested after a DUI crash on Fourth Avenue.

The incident started on Fourth Avenue and Cedar Street around 9:30 p.m., on September 20. Officials received reports of a series of collisions involving a white Toyota vehicle.

According to the preliminary inquiry, the driver collided with a vehicle around Fourth Avenue and Cedar Street, then collided with vehicles near Broad Street and Denny Way, Second Avenue and Battery Street, then crashed into a building.

Officers eventually detained the 51-year-old male, who seemed to be under the influence of narcotics, alcohol, and marijuana at the time of the crash.

At this time, authorities have not released if there were injuries from the crash. Once available, more information will be released about the DUI crash on Fourth Avenue.
