28-Year-Old Driver Arrested and 78-Year-Old Passenger Injured after DUI Crash near Zoo Place

SAN DIEGO, CA (October 13, 2022) – Friday night, police arrested a woman after a DUI crash on Florida Drive.

The incident happened on October 7th, at about 6:50 p.m., near Zoo Place involving a Chevrolet Cruze and a Nissan Altima.

Initial reports stated that the Chevy was traveling north when it veered over to the northbound lanes and collided with the Nissan. The driver of the Nissan did not suffer any injuries but the 78-year-old passenger sustained a broken wrist.

Meanwhile, the 28-year-old driver of the Chevy suffered minor head injuries. She was later arrested after treatment.
