1 Seriously Injured in Big-Rig Collision near U.S. 93 in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV (November 9, 2021) – Authorities airlifted a driver following a semi-truck accident near Interstate 15, early Friday morning.

According to reports, the crash took place shortly after 4:00 a.m., near the US 93/I-15 interchange.

According to Metro Police, the driver of a semi-truck towing a trailer attempted to make a u-turn when they collided with a northbound vehicle.

Due to the impact of the collision, the driver was seriously injured. Medics responded and airlifted the driver to a local hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, the surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened.

At this time, the deadly semi-truck accident near Interstate 15 is still under active investigation.
