On November 7, Drink:Eat:Play is hosting a Speakeasy party at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, proving once again that they have cornered the market on fraternity-style theme parties for grown-ups. 20's attire is mandatory for guests of the event, which aims to transport them to the era of Prohibition through cocktails crafted by the handlebar-mustachioed, suspender-clad mixologists of the Edison and the Varnish. And for added authenticity, they've built in a quasi-class division: while $75 ticket holders guzzle free-flowing gin, bourbon, and Scotch and munch the fruit and cheese buffet, holders of $100 VIP tickets will lounge with flutes of champagne, and desserts and appetizers by Flavors of Love. Though we've found booze to be the great equalizer, we're sure that after a few libations by the Edison's Aidan Demarest, you probably won't care anyway.

Tickets are available for purchase on their website, or hit up Goldstar to get $25 off.
