It's not a SigAlert, but you mind as well be prepared for a FigAlert as Figueroa Street between Olympic and Jefferson boulevards will be closed starting at 12 a.m. Monday to accommodate the 11 a.m. Lakers parade.

Restaurants at LA Live will be open and accessible from Olympic Boulevard, but authorities warned that the rest of the Staples Center will otherwise be off limits to the public. They encouraged fans to head south to 12th Street and beyond to view the parade, which starts at Staples. Adjacent streets will also be closed to traffic:

-Chick Hearn Court between Figueroa Street and Cherry Street.

-Cherry Street between Olympic and Pico boulevards.

-Flower Street between Washington and Jefferson Boulevards.

-Jefferson Boulevard between Figueroa and Hoover Streets.

Streets will reopen as the parade passes, according to the Los Angeles Department of Transportation.
