EightyTwo, Pattern Bar and Wurstküche are so cool, you say. Yes, stumbling through Art Walk or smoking joints in the Arts District might just be the most hipster thing happening in Los Angeles right now.

But remember: The LAPD doesn't care if you're in a gentrified party zone. There's no get-out-of-jail-free card there. Cops just don't want you drinking and driving. So here's your warning, party people:

Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight there will be extra police motorcycles and patrol units on the streets of the LAPD's Central Division area, a.k.a. downtown. The huge street party known as Fiesta Broadway happens Sunday.

Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. you'll be treated to another such “saturation patrol,” this time on the streets of the LAPD's 77th Division area.
