Separate Car Crashes on Highway 101 Causes Traffic Disturbances

PISMO BEACH, CA (August 18, 2022) – On Friday, two separate car crash was reported to have occurred on Highway 101.

The first crash happened just after 4:50 p.m., July 29th, where at least five vehicles were involved near the southbound Five Cities Drive.

Officers and ambulance arrived at the scene, although it is currently unclear if anyone was injured. The crash caused traffic lanes to be disturbed.

Late on, a second crash happened at around 6:22 p.m., when two vehicles collided causing one to end up on the center divider, near the Mattie Road overpass. Traffic was slowed because of the crash.
