An ice-skating coach who has worked at rinks in Harbor City, Anaheim, Riverside and more, was charged this week with lewd acts on a minor.

The L.A. County Sheriff's Department announced that 29-year-old Donald Vincent was jailed in lieu of $1 million bail after a 17-year-old boy came forward and claimed the coach molested him when he was between the ages of 12 and 15.

Sheriff's officials say the suspect from Torrance was charged Monday with …

… one count of 288.5(a) CA Penal Code, Continuous Lewd Acts With a Minor, and two counts of 288(c)(1) CA Penal Code, Lewd Acts with a Minor, Ages 14 or 15.

The victim told investigators he had been molested at the coach's Hacienda Heights home, according to the sheriff's department.

Cops said the boy told a friend at a youth camp: The friend urged him to come forward.

Authorities are concerned because of the number of children Vincent worked with. They listed the locations where he coached:

East/West Ice Palace – Artesia, Los Angeles County

Glacial Gardens – Lakewood, Los Angeles County

Norwalk Ice – Norwalk, now closed (2007)

Paramont Iceland – Paramount, Los Angeles County

Skating Edge Ice Arena – Harbor City, Los Angeles County

Anaheim Ice – Anaheim, Orange County

Ice Town Riverside – Riverside, Riverside County

If you have info for detectives, the sheriff's Special Victims Bureau would love to hear from you: 877-710-5273.

Editor's note: A previous version of this post gave the wrong location for one of Vincent's previous employers. The ice rink was in Harbor City, not Culver City. We regret the error.
