57-Year-Old Man Dead after Fatal Pedestrian Accident near Monroe Street
INDIO, CA (July 2, 2021) – Domingo Cordova, 57, of Indio, lost his life Monday evening following a hit-and-run accident on Shadow Palm Avenue.
The tragic crash happened around 9:00 p.m., on June 28. Emergency crews arrived on Shadow Palm Avenue, just west of Monroe Street.
According to the CHP, a red full-size single-cab pickup truck struck and killed Cordova while walking in the area.
Investigators stated the suspect driver fled the scene and did not render any aid to the victim.
At this time, police are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
Indio Police Department is currently investigating the fatal crash. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the police department at 760-391-4057.
