Raymond Olivas Hospitalized after Solo-Car Collision near Mile Marker 97
ELY, NV (January 23, 2023) – Tuesday night, a single-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. 93 left Dolores Olivas dead, and Raymond Olivas injured. The accident took place on January 17th, at around 4:45 p.m., near Mile Marker 97 on U.S. 93. According to reports, Dolores, in a red Ford F-350, was driving too fast for the weather conditions and lost control of the truck. The truck traveled over the centerline into the opposite lanes, veered off the left side of the roadway, and overturned. The crash partially ejected Olivas from the vehicle, causing her to sustain serious injuries. Her passenger, Raymond, was also injured in the collision. First responders to the crash pronounced 51-year-old Dolores Olivas, dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics transported Raymond Olivas to a local hospital for treatment.
