Does the ultra-liberal, uber-progressive Huffington Post, which is based in Los Angeles and New York, have a staff that reflects its diversity-loving ways? The answer to that question is we don't know.

That's because the influential Post failed to respond to an American Society of News Editors survey about the diversity of online newsrooms. Unfortunately for us, the Post was the only one of 58 asked to respond that is based partly in L.A. (WTF? Like we don't have online-only news sites in this city?).

The good news is that ASNE found that online-only newsrooms were more diverse than traditional print outlets: One in five people in this cross-section of the internet news business is a minority, according to the survey.

In Los Angeles County nearly one out of every two people is Latino so, of course, most news organizations here reflect that ratio. Not.
