Dodger Stadium will begin operating at full capacity starting June 15, the date that California is set for a full economic reopening.

Dodgers season ticket holders who previously had their seats adjusted to accommodate social distancing measures, were notified Friday with a letter stating:

“In anticipation of California’s June 15 reopening and a return to full capacity at Dodger Stadium, the original schedule and seat locations of your season ticket memberships will be reinstated starting Tuesday, June 15.”

The 55,000-seat stadium has been operating at a limited capacity since the start of the season, with seating “pods” creating separation between fans, and a couple of sections hosting “fully vaccinated” individuals.

On Friday, California health officials announced that the state met the threshold to remove business COVID-19 restrictions, including social distancing and capacity limits.

On May 13, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced that mask mandates would be lifted on June 15, with some exceptions in large, densely populated gatherings.
