Added at the bottom: Four people were arrested and ID'd.

An assault at Dodger Stadium last night had echoes of the Bryan Stow incident, in which a Giants fan was beaten at the 2011 home opener, but luckily the victim's injuries in this case were not life-threatening.

The fracas, first reported by @LAScanner on Twitter, happened before 9 p.m. in parking lot 3.

ABC7 tracked down the rest of the story and found out this is what happened:

The victim was involved in a fender bender after the Dodgers' game with the St. Louis Cardinals.

One or more individuals pulled him out of his car and beat him, causing non-life-threatening “head and facial injuries” that sent him to County-USC Medical Center.

The station says a woman who was eight months pregnant was with the victim and was hospitalized as a precaution.

Four people were questioned by cops.

About 14 months ago, during the season opener against the archrival Giants, a San Francisco fan named Bryan Stow was beaten into a coma, allegedly by two Dodgers fans.

That incident set off a flurry of bad press about security at Dodger Stadium.

[Added at 11:32 a.m.]: City News Service reports that four men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon (their fists and feet — allegedly), following the fracas.

[Added at 6:15 p.m.]: According to City News, the four were identified by the LAPD as “Arthur

Morales, 30, of Monrovia; Alan Trujillo, 29, of Los Angeles; Ulisis Briceno, 26, of Los Angeles; and Alejandro Briceno, 29, of La Crescenta.”

Two posed bail and were released earlier today and two others were in the process of getting out. Bail had been set at $30,000 each.
