Many of us, depending on the stage of our lives and the state of our paychecks, have lived somewhere with a truly pitiful kitchen. If you have, you know it can be really sad. No counter space on which to chop, no storage and no dishwasher with which to magically take care of the mess: all these things can lead to you wanting to throw in the towel and order takeout. We understand how depressing it can be.
DIY to the rescue! If your kitchen is a hot mess, you have until August 8th to enter to win a complete kitchen makeover, which will be documented for a one-hour DIY Network special called “Worst Kitchen in America,” which will air early next year. The winner will also receive a trip for two to the New York City Wine & Food Festival, which includes a meet and greet with Food Network star Chef Anne Burrell.
