Las Vegas, Nevada-based DJ and producer Sara Pedraza has been redefining the meaning of live entertainment with her company’s exotic blend of beauty, international style, personality, and visual elements. SP Entertainment offers a lot more than average DJ services. It’s a team of trained female music professionals who, while DJing, will perform specialized acts designed to capture the crowd. Various acts used to dazzle audiences could include, acrobatics, balancing acts, hula hoops, staff, flow arts, fire, dancing, and more. Sara also produces high-overhead dancing with aerial and trapeze work that is also often part of the show. Bookings can be catered to meet the needs of multiple events that include, weddings, pool parties, casinos, private parties, nightclubs, and corporate and private events.
Pedraza has deep roots in showbiz. Her mother was a trained dancer, and her father is a musician from the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City. She began entertaining audiences when she was six years old. By 13, Pedraza had become an accomplished classical opera singer and was studying music, dance, gymnastics, modeling, and make-up. When she was 18, she joined the circus as a singing ringmaster. For the next 15 years, she captivated audiences around the world as a featured performer under the big tops.
Her skills as an aerial performer and ring mistress were noticed, and before long she found herself working for a long list of top circuses She has also been seen around the world, from Ocean Park in Hong Kong to Sea World in Texas, to Bush Gardens in Williamsburg. She also has a touch of magic in her, having enhanced the shows of several famous Las Vegas magicians like Kevin James, Nathan Burton, Mike Michaels, Tommy Wind, Melinda, Scarlett, and many more.
In 2009, Sara created her Dancing DJ concept and has been appearing nightly in Downtown Las Vegas at the Fremont Street Experience. Fremont Street is visited by over 25 Million guests a year. It covers five blocks with direct access to eight Downtown Hotel Casinos. Sara’s unique mix of music and visual entertainment has kept her business working 365 days a year on Fremont’s three stages. She is currently directing and producing fabulous Cirque Style variety shows, Fusion, Half Court Hotties, and Wicked Dreams. These shows include singers, musicians, acrobatics, aerialists, dancers, and more.
She was also the Resident DJ at the entertainment news TV show More Access on Fox5 Las Vegas for over three years, while working with Circa’s Stadium Swim in downtown Las Vegas booking DJs.
“It has always been my mission to create a happy atmosphere for people to release their emotions by listening to their favorite music and having the best time of their life,” says Sara. “Now I want to share my knowledge to empower women in business.”
Her extensive experience in the world of crowd-pleasing spectacle allows her to know exactly what your audience wants — and to deliver, which is why she has created Vibing Concepts, a new brand set to launch in January 2023 that will offer online and in-person stage performance coaching. Pedraza will teach rising female performers how to develop their talents through the Express Your Vibe program.
“Under Vibing Concepts LLC, we are introducing the Xpress Your Vibe program to provide coaching for female entrepreneurs, stage performers, and speakers, as well as female dancers, acrobats, and circus performers,” says Sara. I’m really looking forward to building a brand that is unique, innovative, and resonates with people who share my values, my vibe. I am starting a community where we can learn, share, and get inspired and motivated. My goal is to empower women to become their own entrepreneurs”.
