Guetting sick of David Guetta yet? The DJ has taken over all music. After a weekend of listening to Vegas pop radio and seeing the Frenchman perform at Electric Daisy Carnival, his cheesy “Where Them Girls At” (featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Manaj) has invaded our headspace and will not leave.

So you need the next Guetta then? Look no further than his longtime production partner Joachim Garraud, who, we would venture, is less cheesy, more bangin' — as in relentless, acidic, full-throttle house music. Heck, we even have a Garraud mix to prove it:

Check it out, here.

Garraud, now a Coachella veteran, has been enjoying the fruits of his spring album, Invasion 2011, and performing a post-DJ show that includes him rocking out on a keytar.

When he's not doing that, he's been hanging out in-studio in L.A. and France with none other than Venice's hot-wife-having Perry Farrell who, as legend has it, tapped Garraud on the shoulder after seeing him rock the Sahara tent at Coachella.

We're told Garraud is going to perform live with Farrell at the latter's Lollapalooza in Chicago this August.

Now, you say to yourself, you need to tap some of that French-DJ energy too. Well, you can. Check Gaurraud's DJ set out at Playhouse in Hollywood Friday:

6506 Hollywood Blvd., 21+, doors at 10. Guest list.
