Drug dealers dressed as Winnie the Pooh outside Epcot? Sleeping Beauty's evil Maleficent played by a coked-up drag queen? Sex with Ariel of The Little Mermaid? People have been trying to demystify the magic and splendor of Disney with hidden sexual messages since the creation of Snow White. And L.A. native Chris Mitchell will shatter whatever lofty aspirations you might have of being employed at the Magic Kingdom in his Disney diary Cast Member Confidential: A Disneyfied Memoir (Citadel). Mitchell, a sports photographer who worked as a park photographer at DisneyWorld for a year, recounts enough tales of sex, drugs and other sorts of zippity doo dah to make Walt’s cryogenically frozen body, supposedly buried underneath The Pirates of the Caribbean, turn over in its chamber. Way to ruin a child’s fantasy, or at least that of a very naive 30-something who just really, really likes funnel cake.
