Causes and culprits provide club highlights this week. The Droog collective’s Culprit label — along with Throne of Blood and Scion — has taken residency at Temporary Spaces II (a.k.a. the old Gabah), and this week they’ve got some dancey doozies on the decks: Boston’s Soul Clap (on the much howled-about Wolf + Lamb label) will bring the cosmic house, disco and soul blasts to the beat fest, along with DFA’s DJ Kaos, and locals TK Disco and Droog, too. TS2, 4658 Melrose Ave., L.A.; Fri., Dec. 4, 10 p.m.-4 a.m. Myspace.com/droog_la.Family Values II, a benefit bash launching the National Equality Action Campaign demanding full LGBT equality (“no compromises”), has a host of over-the-top performances planned (Selene Luna, The Bouffant Sisters, Ongina and Tammie Brown from last season RuPaul’s Drag Race, and many more), plus a silent auction and sure-to-be-lively dance-floor sounds courtesy of Derek Monteiro and Phyllis Navidad. Minimum suggested donation: $8 presale, $12 at the door. Club Eleven, 8811 Santa Monica Blvd., W. Hlywd; Tues., Dec. 8; FamilyValuesII.com.
