Do you get depressed when summer comes to a close? When week-long vacations are over, school goes back in session and Summer Fridays are suddenly another nine months away? How about some temporary relief in the form of an L.A. “staycation,” courtesy of DineLA Restaurant Week. During the weeks of October 3-8 and 10-15, DineLA Restaurant Week is back with its tiered, prix-fixe three-course menus, but this time it has also arranged for overnight hotel packages near participating restaurants.

That means that if you have dinner at The Bazaar by José Andrés, instead of stumbling out to the valet stand you can stumble directly upstairs to a swanky room inside the SLS Hotel. And if you hit up Delphine, you can also schedule an overnight at the W Hotel Hollywood. Perhaps schedule an early massage at Bliss Spa followed by brunch back at Delphine; it might be overkill but their scrambled eggs in puff pastry sure sounds good to us.

Other hotels and restaurants participating in the DineLA Restaurant Week package include Four Seasons Westlake Village/ONYX; JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE/L.A. Market; Le Merigot/Cezanne; Millennium Biltmore/Sai Sai; O Hotel/O Bar & Kitchen; SLS Beverly Hills/The Bazaar; The Hollywood Heights/The Hideout; The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club/BALEENLosangeles; Westin Bonaventure/LA Prime; W Hollywood/Delphine; W Los Angeles-Westwood/ NINETHIRTY. Full details are available at DineLA's website. Participating restaurants will be announced September 1.
