DineLA returns for its Fall 2021 Program from Friday, October 1 through Friday, October 15, offering specially-priced menus available for lunch and dinner with a focus on supporting dine-in service, both indoor and outdoor, and takeout dining. A new crop of restaurants will join the roster for the first time including matū, Sightglass Hollywood and Flavors From Afar alongside regulars of the program across Los Angeles such as Water Grill, Terra and Casa Vega. Some of the city’s best al fresco moments, rooftop dining rooms, and patios are represented with Yamashiro, Original Farmer’s Market and Rossoblu. If you want a chance to savor the cuisine of chef Minh Phan at Phenakite, which was awarded a Michelin star this week, the James Beard Foundation will present an Asian brunch as part of their Taste America series on Sunday, October 17. Sixty-five percent of each ticket goes to the chef and 35 percent benefits the Open For Good campaign, which aids independent restaurants.  Proof of vaccination is required, get tickets here

Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Tito’s Tacos are teaming up for their fourth annual “Tito’s Fiesta Mexicana” on October 4 to celebrate National Vodka Day and National Taco Day.

Co-sponsored by the city of Culver City and hosted by comedian Eric Schwartz, fans are invited to stop by Tito’s Tacos to sip on Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails, feast on tacos and take in Mariachi and Folklorico Entertainment. Admission for fans 21 years or older costs $25 per person, which includes three Tito’s Handmade Vodka Specialty Cocktails and Tito’s Tacos. Non-alcohol admission tickets are $10 per person which includes food and entertainment. Tickets can be purchased at the event’s entrance via cash or credit card and help support the Culver City Cultural Arts Foundation.

Angelini Osteria is commemorating its 20th anniversary next week with daily specials like lamb stew with soft polenta, veal kidneys sauteed with white wine and onions and wood oven roasted leg of pork from Monday, October 4 through Sunday, October 10.

Firestone Walker’s Oktoberfest celebration takes place on Saturday, October 2 at 12:00 p.m. at their Venice Propagator in Marina del Rey. The celebration will include live music, games, exclusive beers (including their signature Oaktoberfest), and an Oktoberfest inspired menu.
