Celebrities banded together for “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” telethon on Friday, which raised $57 million and counting. And on a bit of a smaller, but no less meaningful scale, local bakers and restaurants have been rallying support for those in need, suffering from the massive quake in Port-au-Prince. Here is a continued list of places you can donate while you dine, and bake. Every dollar–and cookie–counts.

Herb Alpert's Vibrato Grill and Jazz bar is donating 50% of door proceeds to Haiti disaster victims on Tuesday, Jan. 26th, with jazz and blues performances by Barbara Morrison at 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. $20 cover. Vibrato: 2930 North Beverly Glen Circle, Los Angeles; (310) 474-9400.

Cookies Without Borders: A Bake Sale for Haiti, organized by Tannaz Sassooni, will be held at Scoops Gelato on Sunday, Jan. 31 from 2-5 p.m. In addition to home baked goods, the event will feature an array of sweets from Spork Foods, Whisk LA, and Bittersweet Treats. All proceeds from the bake sale go to Doctors Without Borders. If you can't make it to the event, you can donate directly to Doctors Without Borders, and write “Cookies Without Borders Bake Sale” on your check. Scoops Gelato: 712 N. Heliotrope Drive, Los Angeles; (323) 906-2649. (Located in East Hollywood, just north of Melrose, between Normandie and Vermont.) For check donations: Doctors Without Borders USA. PO Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

The Daily Grill restaurant chain is holding “A Day for Haiti” on Wednesday, Feb. 3, with 100% of sales going towards the American Red Cross and Partners in Health. A special benefit menu includes chicken pot pie, cheeseburger, Cobb salad and fruit cobbler.

Vertical Wine Bistro is teaming up with food bloggers Fiona Chandra of Gourmet Pigs, Matt Robold of Rumdood, and Matthew Kang of Mattatouille, all of whom will be mixing cocktails for “Haitian Libations Charity Event,” held at the wine bistro on February 6th at 10 p.m. Cocktails to be served include the Vieux Carre, the Aviation, and the Port-Au-Prince – an original cocktail with Barbancourt 8 Year Old Rhum from Haiti. Fifty percent of proceeds go to Artists for Peace and Justice, and director/screenwriter Paul Haggis and actress Maria Bello will personally transport all funds raised from the event to Haiti. Vertical Wine Bistro: 70 N Raymond Ave., Pasadena; (626) 795-3999.
