Just in time for Father’s Day, Jar has reopened its doors and sidewalk for dine-in and takeout. Chef Suzanne Tracht has specials for dad along with the restaurant’s traditional á la carte selections of starters, braised and grilled meats and fresh seafood. Father’s Day specials include char siu baby back pork ribs, tamarind BBQ baby back pork ribs, sautéed soft shell crab, market potato salad, celery root slaw and Jar’s fried chicken dinner with gravy and biscuit.

The menu can be ordered for takeout by visiting their website from 1 p.m.-4 p.m.; delivery can be arranged if ordered 24 hours in advance. Dinner reservations for inside and outdoors are offered from 5:30 p.m. Guests can reserve by calling the restaurant at (323) 655-6566 or visiting online.

Crustacean is also back in business for in-dining service starting this weekend, as well as offering exclusive Father’s Day in-dining and take-home menus on Sunday. Chef Helene An of Crustacean Beverly Hills is offering two exclusive dining experiences for Father’s Day:

Dine-in service, opening for the first time since the COVID-19 quarantine, featuring an exclusive Father’s Day prix fixe menu on Sunday, June 21, is $199. Cook-at-home menu to make with dad is $210.

Each menu features the restaurant’s Asian fusion staples, combined with heartier dish options for every dad, from the meat lover to the vegetarian. Each prix fixe menu offering is for two people.

Starting June 20, the Crustacean Beverly Hills dining room will be open for in-dining service and is currently accepting reservations.

For meat eaters, nothing quite says “I love you, dad” on Father’s Day like a Denny’s grand slam and a free bouquet of bacon. Peach crumble and cream are for dessert.
