34-Year-Old Victim Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Ethanac Road
PERRIS, CA (October 24, 2022) – Wednesday night, Diana Aguirre was pronounced dead after a pedestrian hit-and-run on Highway 74.
Police responded to the scene around 6:00 p.m., near Ethanac Road on October 19th.
According to police, Aguirre was walking across the highway for reasons unknown. The driver of a 2015 Honda Accord then struck Aguirre in the southbound lanes, leaving her with fatal injuries.
Upon impact, the driver fled the scene and left the car in the area of Highway 74 and Greenwald Avenue.
Perris Officials later pronounced 34-year-old Aguirre dead at the scene due to the extent of her injuries.
At this time, police are still investigating the fatal hit-and-run. Witnesses are encouraged to contact the CHP at 951-506-2000.
