As Halloween nears, horror film buffs know that nothing says Saturday night like nerding out on the couch to watch your favorite B-movie actress hack and slash her way through the hearts and jugulars of men that fall victim to her evil ways. Nothing better, that is, unless those B-movie queens are pole dancing and you have a front row seat, cocktail in hand. On October 10 at Bordello, Devil's Playground — the ladies that brought you “Video Game Girls” and “Comic Book Vixens” — presented “Tails from the Crypt” burlesque, a night of terror and tassel twirling that turned B-movie themes into A-list bare all performances. With music by Embalmers and DJ Smokey Anthony, performers Kitty Cadillac, Christina Fuel, Courtney Cruz, Victoria Vengeance, and master contortionist Sin Fisted brought the art of the strip tease to classic B-movie horror girl characters.
