Why go to the Coachella Valley to enjoy the desert, DJs and diminutive outfits only once a year? It's not that far.

A trio of promotion companies from L.A. to San Diego have conspired to get you back to the valley during the hottest time of the year to enjoy deeper EDM sounds at the Splash House Palm Springs Pool and Music Weekend. It goes down Aug. 10 and 11, and will feature the following performers:

The Juan Maclean, Classixx, Bag Raiders, Bixel Boys, Bones, Eats Everything, Kedd Cook, Kidnap Kid, Miami Horror, Neon Indian, Para One, Persus, Plastic Plates, Poolside, Posso, Topicool, Steffi Graf, and Viceroy. More will be announced.

The music will be happening at three “simultaneous pool parties” at the Saguaro, The Curve and Caliente Tropics hotels in Palm Springs. Tickets start at $99. Shuttles will circulate between the venues.

The bad news, especially if you're used to heading to Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas: This is for the big kids. It's 21-and-older.

Organizers include L.A.'s Private Label (known for its events at Lure), Orange County's Pacific Festival and San Diego's LED.
