Three-Vehicle Crash on Lake Boulevard Left Shasta County Deputy Hurt

REDDING, CA (December 14, 2021) – A multi-vehicle crash on Lake Boulevard injured a Shasta County deputy Thursday morning.

Officers responded to the incident around 6:56 a.m. on Lake Boulevard at Hilltop Drive.

Upon arrival, emergency personnel located an SCSO Chevy Tahoe on a concrete divider with significant damage.

In addition, they also found two other vehicles involved identified as a 2003 and a 2018 Ford F150 in a nearby parking lot.

Later on, the investigators said that the ‘18 F150 abruptly turned left and crossed over a raised concrete center divider.

However, the eastbound ‘03 F150 failed to avoid hitting the truck and struck its rear.

Afterwards, the 2003 Ford crossed a raised concrete divider and resumed westbound crashing into the front of the SCSO deputy’s Tahoe.

According to the first responders, they transported the deputy to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
