Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision in Central Avenue Kills 62-Year-Old Demetrio Bravo Paz

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 20, 2021) Coroner’s office identified the victim of a fatal pedestrian crash in Los Angeles as Demetrio Bravo Paz.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. last Friday on Central Avenue south of 112th Street, according to LAPD.

In addition, reports stated that a vehicle traveling northbound struck the pedestrian.

However, the involved vehicle did not stop to render aid to the victim.

Afterwards, a second northbound vehicle also struck the victim but decided to remain at the scene.

Unfortunately, 62-year-old Demetrio Bravo Paz died at the scene due to the extent of his injuries.

In the end, the LAPD reminded drivers involved in an accident to pull over as soon as it is safe, contact the emergency services and remain at the scene.
