31-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision on Bancroft Avenue

OAKLAND, CA (February 4, 2022) – Wednesday, night, 31-year-old Demarco Vierra was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Bancroft Avenue.

According to reports, the collision occurred around 8:00 p.m., at the 6100 block of Bancroft Avenue.

Furthermore, investigators said that an eastbound black, four-door hatchback struck the victim while he was walking north on Bancroft.

As a result of the impact, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Monday morning.

Moreover, the Alameda County Sheriff’s coroner’s bureau identified the deceased victim as 31-year-old Demarco Vierra.

Meanwhile, the Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to a $10,000 reward money for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
