Car Collision near Spalding Drive Left One Dead and Two Hurt

FILLMORE, CA (March 2, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a two-car collision along Highway 126 claimed the life of Delia Price. Officers responded to the fatal incident at 12:00 p.m. near Spalding Drive, east of Pyle Road. According to the CHP, an eastbound 2014 Dodge Durango SUV spun out of control for reasons under investigation. Subsequently, the Dodge collided with the front driver’s side of a westbound 2017 Honda Civic. Reports stated the crash happened during rainy weather and wet road conditions. Responding emergency personnel arrived and extricated both drivers from the wreckage. Unfortunately, the Honda driver, identified as 48-year-old Delia Price of Valencia, died at the scene. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Dodge driver to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
