Two Drivers Dead after Multi-Car Collision on Columbus Boulevard in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ (April 8, 2021) – Friday night, 29-year-old Deandra Cadena and 40-year-old Yvonne Leon were killed in a car accident on E 29th Street.

According to reports, a 2006 Toyota Tundra and a 2016 Chrysler 300 were involved.

Per reports, the driver of the Toyota ran a red light before striking the Chrysler. Although, further details leading up to the crash remain unclear.

Due to the impact, both drivers were pronounced dead. Investigators believe that speed was a factor, but they do not believe impairment played a factor.

At this time, an active investigation is still underway. Once available, more information will be released to the public.
