One man was killed and six other patrons of a San Gabriel cafe were wounded after two masked gunmen entered the Coffee House on East Valley Boulevard and opened fire. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune repeats a police description of the suspects as Asian males who wore bandanas at the time of the shootings, which sent two victims to the hospital in critical condition. The L.A. Times reports robbery did not appear to be a motive, as no money was taken. The LAT also says the cafe's security cameras were not working at the time of the shootings, about 11:15 Thursday night. Yelp reviews of the Coffee House — also known as Cafe Nhac, describe it as a dark, smoky haunt specializing in Vietnamese iced coffee.
