The 2nd annual “Rosé on Rose” Wine Fest returns to  Rose Ave in Venice. on National Rosé Day, Saturday, June 8.  This rosé crawl and street fair brings Rose Ave. restaurants and retailers together to offer exclusive rosé specials, tastings, gourmet food deals, art, live music, local artisan vendors, and two unique VIP Rosé Garden tasting experiences. Wristbands gain access to rosé and rose-themed specials, discounts on food and beverages like  $8 rosés, merchandise deals, and other rose-themed treats at  American Beauty, Anima Mundi, Big Red Sun, Bluestone Lane, Cafe Gratitude, Chulita, Rose Room, Rose Collective, Sugared + Bronzed, Venice Beach Wines, and Wabi on Rose. 

Tickets start at $20 for general admission, and the VIP ticket starting at $60 includes access to two VIP Wine Gardens located at Big Red Sun and Café Gratitude, and rosé tastings from brands like Hampton Water Rosé, Wilson Creek, Besa Mi Vino, Rabble Wine, Domaine Bousquet, Winery Sixteen 600, Heartbeat Hot Rosé, Rescue Rosé, Vinalia, New Zealand Wine Navigator, and Nomatica Wines.  Long Beach Cambodian Restaurant Week returns Sunday, June 2 through Sunday, June 9.  Organized by the United Cambodian Community of Long Beach, the event showcases the city’s rich and diverse Cambodian food scene. Participating restaurants include Battambong BBQ, Phnom Penh Noodle Shack, New Pho, Owl Owl Street Food, Foreign Exchange, Rice Strings Noodle Shack, I Luv Your Buns, Meals Dot Kom, Sophy’s Cambodia Town Food & Music and Shlap Muan.

 L.A.’s 107-year-old, San Antonio Winery, located in Lincoln Heights, now offers pinsa at their newest restaurant, 1917 Wine Bar & Bistro.  The Roman-style flatbread is being served alongside an  Italian Spritz del Conte,  an aperitif-style cocktail featuring a blend of bubbly white wine and aromatic herbs with notes of orange and bitters.

 Salty Magazine and Chef Sujan Sarkar of modern Indian restaurant, Baar Baar Los Angeles in DTLA, are hosting guest chefs Janaína Torres (World’s 50 Best Restaurants Best Female Chef 2024) of A Casa do Porco and Tássia Magalhães of Nelita (World’s 50 Best Restaurants) in São Paulo, Brazil for a special dinner event on Tuesday, June 11 at Baar Baar Los Angeles. The dinner will feature a tasting menu including a diverse selection of elevated cuisine and flavors specially curated by each chef. The tasting menu is priced at $295, exclusive of tax and service, with an optional wine pairing for $150. Reserve a spot through OpenTable with seatings available from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.


Legend and LVE at The London WeHo Rooftop

Just in time for summer rooftop season, The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills will debut ‘Legend and LVE at The London WeHo Rooftop’ – a new dining experience in partnership with LVE Wines by John Legend. Launching today,  the hotel’s poolside rooftop will transform into a restaurant, serving both a la carte and prix-fixe dinner menus daily. The new al fresco dining experience can be enjoyed either in a private cabana or a table with views of the Hollywood Hills and city skyline. It’s the first time the luxury hotel has hosted a seasonal poolside rooftop dining experience open to the public.

Starter options include BBQ chicken pizza, croquembouche; and short rib ravioli, paired with LVE Chardonnay Carneros and Cabernet Sauvignon. Mains include spicy miso pasta with Manila clams, fried chicken with spicy honey butter and Beef Wellington served for two. The main dishes are paired with LVE Cabernet Sauvignon. Desserts include berry Pavlova and chocolate brownie, paired with LVE French Sparkling Rose. Pricing is $85 for the three-course meal, and $120 with wine pairings included.

Meteora, the holistic, live-fire, and multi-sensory restaurant from award-winning Chef Jordan Kahn (Destroyer, Vespertine) will welcome celebrated Chef Santiago Lastra of the Michelin-starred KOL in London to Los Angeles on Saturday, June 8 for a one-night-only collaborative dinner. The event marks the first time Chef Lastra has ever cooked in Los Angeles. Tickets are $195 per person and are on sale via OpenTable.
