Motorcycle Collision on Interstate 15 Left 66-Year-Old Man Dead
CORONA, CA (February 2, 2021) – Early Tuesday morning, David Vinci died in a solo-vehicle motorcycle crash on Magnolia Avenue.
The incident occurred around 4:00 a.m., on Magnolia Avenue near the Interstate 15 off-ramp.
Reports indicate that 66-year-old Vinci, of Menifee, lost control of the motorcyclist and ran into a sign alongside the road. The impact ejected Vinci from the bike.
Officer Juan Quintero said Vinci was traveling at an unknown speed when he left the freeway, skidding onto the shoulder of the off-ramp and plowing into the traffic sign.
No other vehicles were involved. Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced Vinci dead at the scene.
Moreover, both directions of the roadway were shut down for an unknown amount of time to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
