37-Year-Old Bicyclist David Serrano Dies after Vehicle Crash
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 21, 2022) – Friday morning, a truck-bicycle crash claimed the life of David Serrano.
The incident happened on September 16th, at about 6:50 a.m., on Charleston Boulevard, west of Sandhill Road.
According to reports, Serrano was riding a bicycle along the sidewalk on Charleston Boulevard when he lost control of his bicycle. He then crashed into the rear of a truck headed eastbound.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after and pronounced 37-year-old David Serrano dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck, a 51-year-old man from Utah, fled the scene. Although, he later came back when police contacted him.
Police say that the driver showed no signs of impairment. At this time, the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
