55-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Accident near Campus Parkway
RIVERSIDE, CA (September 8, 2022) – Wednesday morning, 55-year-old David Seager was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Day Street.
The incident happened shortly before 8:00 p.m., near Campus Parkway.
According to reports, Seager was walking in the area around Day street when he was struck by a Honda Accord. The Honda’s driver, a 33-year-old Moreno Valley resident, stayed at the scene and called 911.
Riverside Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly after and found Seager with critical injuries. He was transported to Riverside University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, police questioned the driver. It appeared that she was not hurt from the crash, and no arrests were made. At this time, the cause of the crash is under investigation, any witnesses are asked to contact the police traffic bureau at 951-826-8720.
