Suspect at Large after Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident on James M. Wood Boulevard

WESTLAKE, CA (June 27, 2022) – A hit-and-run on Grattan Street and James M. Wood Boulevard left David Salazar injured Monday afternoon.

The collision happened at the intersection of Grattan Street and James M. Wood Boulevard.

Video footage captured from the scene revealed a light-colored vehicle running into Salazar while he was riding his bike.

Afterwards, the driver stopped temporarily before entering back into their vehicle and fleeing the scene.

Ultimately, first responders arrived and transported Salazar to a nearby hospital after suffering significant injuries. At this time, Los Angeles Officials are working to identify the hit-and-run suspect.
