One Dead, Multiple Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 395
SUSANVILLE, CA (May 20, 2022) – Sunday morning, David Parry was killed, and Edgar Guzman was hurt in a car accident on Highway 395.
California Highway Patrol officers received multiple reports around 11:10 a.m., of a reckless driver on Highway 395.
Witnesses stated that Parry was driving a 1996 Toyota Camry south recklessly and crossed the center line, eventually swerving to the right.
There, Parry struck a northbound 2019 Toyota Highlander driven by 31-year-old Guzman, of Reno, Nevada. Investigators say Guzman saw the oncoming vehicle and swerved to the right. However, he was unable to avoid being struck by Parry.
