52-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident near Baird Way
CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (October 20, 2022) – Friday night, a motorcycle crash along Auburn Boulevard claimed the life of David Pail Zinnel.
Officers responded to the scene just after 8:00 p.m., at the 8100 block of Auburn Boulevard on October 14th.
At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that first responders located Zinnel lying on the groun upon arrival.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced 52-year-old Zinnel dead at the scene.
Following preliminary investigations, police stated that alcohol or drugs did not play a factor in the crash. Police are still currently investigating what led to the deadly crash.
Meanwhile, both northbound and southbound lanes of Auburn Boulevard between Rollingwood Boulevard were briefly closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
