75-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck by Pickup-Truck on Myrtle Street
PLUMAS COUNTY, CA (January 11, 2023) – Wednesday morning, David Oliver was killed in a pedestrian accident on Myrtle Street.
Authorities received dispatch calls in the area shortly before noon on December 28th.
For reasons under investigation, 72-year-old Sandra Oliver struck David while driving a 2021 Ram pickup-truck that was towing a trailer.
Due to the impact of the collision, 75-year-old David sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. In addition, authorities said that Sandra Oliver did not sustain injuries.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, the California Highway Patrol continues investigating the Myrtle Street accident.
