Pacifica DUI Driver Arrested Following a Hit-And-Run Incident

PACIFICA, CA (July 28, 2021) – Authorities arrested 43-year-old David Ochoa on Sunday after hit-and-run and DUI charges.

Initially, officers responded to the area of Carmel and Palmetto avenues around 4:54 P.M. on a report of reckless driving.

Afterwards, they received another report of a collision with injuries on Francisco Boulevard.

Police discovered a white GMC truck that crashed into a power pole with Arizona license plates.

Meanwhile, numerous witnesses reported two men fleeing the scene on foot after the crash.

The police eventually located and detained the men sustaining injuries consistent with the crash.

In addition, the driver, identified as David Ochoa, received minor injuries but displayed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol.

Officers determined that Ochoa was driving under the influence and booked him to jail after being cleared at a nearby hospital.
