Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Accident near Rosemead Boulevard
ARCADIA, CA (May 31, 2022) – 62-year-old David Meadows was pronounced dead Saturday night, after a pedestrian accident on 210 Freeway.
The fatal incident happened around 8:33 p.m., near the Rosemead Boulevard on-ramp.
Under unknown circumstances, a passing vehicle struck the pedestrian as they were walking along the on-ramp. Upon impact, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, responding officers arrived and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the deceased victim as 62-year-old David Meadows.
Furthermore, the crash caused officials to issue a SigAlert in the area while clearing and preliminary operations took place. An active investigation is currently underway.
