Artists like to do “Twitter interviews” where they pretend to give the commonfolk access and then the commonfolk prove to be a bunch of a) uncreative simpletons who want to ask over and over “where do you get your ideas” or b) nerdy obsessives who want to ask over and over about banal details concerning the person's work. Well, David Lynch just did one of those for The Guardian and if you just remove the annoying questions, he sounds just like a Zen Master:
