Cops tonight were on the lookout for UCLA honors student David John Goeser, whose family says needs medication and hasn't been seen since Sunday.

The 22-year-old's 2001 white Toyota Corolla was found near Los Liones Drive and Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades, according to what the LAPD told City News Service.

Goeser was last spotted by his roommates …

… at their apartment in the 1000 Block of Roebling Avenue in Westwood over the weekend, according to an LAPD statement.

Goeser's family became concerned because he left behind his phone, ID and credit cars, police said, adding:

According to family members Goeser is under a doctor's care and in need of regular medication. They are extremely concerned for his welfare..

Family members said they hadn't heard from him in a week.

The English major is 5 feet, 11 inches, 160 pounds with a thin build and a fair complexion. Here's roughly where his car was found late tonight:

[Added at 12:14 a.m. Thursday]: There's a Facebook page titled “Find David Goeser” dedicated to the missing student. Friends apparently created the page earlier Wednesday.

Meanwhile the Daily Bruin reports that his car was found at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the base of a hiking trial in Pacific Palisades, near the intersection mapped above.
